Our friends Eric and Thea have just moved back into the area from San Francisco and were excited to start Daytripping. Their 1st choice was this one, one of our most popular. Nothing like friendship, good music, the open road, and living history.

Here's a quick little shortcut tip that you may want to use. At the 1st part of the Itinerary, instead of going all of the way through Ripley and turning left past the high school, turn left onto US 62/68 in town and then make the first right onto North Pole Road. This is a great road and a bit easier than the original way and will take you straight to the 1st covered bridge (North Pole Road Bridge)
