[b]This is the text of an email that we received from Diane and Gary, and we are posting it on Tips & Reviews with their kind permission. We have omitted one paragraph from the original message pertaining to a correction to the Itinerary ( The correction has been made).
Oz & Mo
Thank you very much for giving us the Itinerary for More Covered Bridges when we met at the Stonelick Covered Bridge a few weeks ago. We took this Daytrip yesterday (Saturday), and we enjoyed it very much.
We intended to make it a leisurely, day-long trip, so from beginning to end we spent 6 hours on it, following your directions step by step, but actual travel time was approximately 3 hours and 50 minutes.
Being an engineer and a bean counter, we could nitpick about tenths of a mile, etc., but your directions were very clear, and the only times we "got lost" were when we were talking and not paying attention to the directions. We didn't even use a map. We really enjoyed driving on the backroads. We always like to see the less travelled roads; you miss so much when you stay on the highways. The listing of restaurants and services in the larger towns was a helpful addition.
We had an enjoyable time and saw covered bridges that we didn't even know existed, and little communities that we never would have a reason to see otherwise. Your website should be a winner if there are many couples like us out there. We really look forward to following more of your Daytrips. Best of luck!
